Meet Mpho

At first glance, Mpho seems like an ordinary 7-year-old boy—playful, curious and sometimes shy. But spending a day with him at both his home and school, Ikwezi Primary, reveals what makes him an unforgettable child. For one, Mpho is passionate about excelling at every task given by his teacher. Whether a sum is too difficult to solve or a word too long to spell, he uses up all his energy to arrive at the right answer. When doing his homework, carrying out his household chores and playing with his cousin, Mpho gives 100%. Before we leave, he tells us that he wants to be a policeman when he grows up, when we ask why, he says “because they protect and help people.”

How we share the power of breakfast

How we share the power of breakfast

With your help Kellogg's is providing breakfast cereal for kids in 50 different schools across the country. Here is how:

  • Every time you buy a specially marked box of Kellogg’s cereal, you contribute one serving of breakfast.
  • FoodBank receives cereal and milk from Kellogg’s and First Choice
  • …and delivers it to schools on our behalf.
  • So that 25,000 children can get a great start to their school day with a tasty breakfast…
  • …to feed their tummies and their potential…
  • …every school day this year.

We're changing lives for the better. See how.
